Sacramento City Unified applies California’s TK-for-All rule: any child who turns 4 by September 1, 2026 is eligible for TK in 2026–27 (birthdays September 2, 2021 – September 1, 2022). TK is free public school, with no income limit, and is offered at participating elementary schools district-wide.
How to enroll in SCUSD TK
